When you cut your thumb, you certainly don't expect to have a math test in the next fifteen minutes after the fact. It is really uncomfortable when you are unable to bend the most important finger of your writer's hand. And besides, the tension only rises, making you commit stupid errors in a stupid test, which was made to be easy.
